2008 Final Regular Season Power Rankings

I have not updated these rankings since week 10. The differences in rankings you see here are in comparison to Week 10.

Based purely on power rankings, there is far more parity this season. Check out last season’s final rankings. The top team last season were the Patriots with a team strength of 21.26. Indy was at 13.36. Of course, the Super Bowl Champ Giants were a distant #13 with a strength of 1.4. They were streaking heading into the playoffs though. San Diego would seem to have some similar attributes this year.

The Hawks had a massive dip this year, losing 14.49 in their team strength. They we worse everywhere but YPC. Most distressing was the jump in points allowed.

I admit to not following the NFL as closely as the Hawks drifted, but I’m shocked to see Baltimore on top here.

See you all as we get closer to the draft.
