The Seahawks have traded WR Percy Harvin for a conditional mid-round draft pick, according the NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport.
While there are many details we don’t know yet, this move reeks of unrest behind the scenes. The Seahawks haven’t been themselves this year on either side of the ball, but the lack of rhythm on offense was arguably the most obvious takeaway from Sunday’s loss to the Cowboys.
How much of this was to do with Harvin? What was the situation involving his role? Why was Darrell Bevell so set on feeding him the ball and ignoring Marshawn Lynch?
These are questions that will linger for now. The answers may be self-evident, depending on what the Hawks look like on the field this weekend against the Rams.
