Through a combination of lackluster play calling, soft defense, and no interceptions, the Seahawks lost for just the second time at home in the past two years Sunday.
The Seahawks cannot expect to win, either at home or on the road, by looking as mortal as they did today. The near-unthinkable happened on several occasions – Lynch getting next to nothing on his carries, Wilson failing to hit open receivers, and the offense sputtering on the final drive, leading to a Wilson interception.
The Seahawks fall to 3-2 on the season. Meanwhile, the Cardinals have just beaten the Redskins, furthering their hold on the NFC West.
Injuries to Bobby Wagner and Byron Maxwell will be updated as we hear more.
